Transforming Waste into Local Wealth & Real-World Solutions
In the wake of current economic challenges, local school supplies and home equipment have become highly expensive for families in Nairobi[cite: 1]. Eco Kenya is a student-driven marketplace designed to tackle this crisis head-on. By collecting community waste materials, we build durable, high-quality alternatives that keep students learning and working comfortably.
We believe that true progress means looking at problems as opportunities. Instead of relying on imports, our school hub creates 100% locally recycled tools that empower schools while keeping our surrounding environments green, beautiful, and completely trash-free!
Every single product listed below is hand-assembled directly in our student workspace using refined plastic, wood, and cardboard scraps:
Crafted entirely from melted and reshaped water bottles. It feature deeply engraved millimeter lines that never wear away, providing precise execution for geometry classes at half the price of standard commercial rulers.
Constructed by compressing five layers of strong packaging boxes. These lightweight, portable desks can carry up to 30 kilograms of heavy books and laptops, making them ideal for home study setups.
